Where is your shop located?

We have two home based shop locations that we use in South East and South West Barrie.

Do I have to drop my vehicle off or can I wait?

We are drop-offs by appointment only, we do not have a waiting area for customers.

When do you offer your mobile service and does it cost more?

Every year is different but our typical mobile season runs from April until roughly November. We don’t charge extra for appointments in Barrie, but we do if you live outside of Barrie. Charges depend on where you are located.

How much does detailing cost?

This depends on a few different factors, the package or service your are seeking, the condition of your vehicle, and your expectations for us. For example our Basic Interior Package starts at $150, that includes an interior wipe down, vacuum, light steam cleaning and spot stain removal, etc… but if your vehicle has lots of pet hair, salt stains, fabric staining, etc… then we would notify you that we recommend upgrading to our deep interior package to ensure the best results. It all depends on what our customers are looking for!

How long will it take to detail my car?

Every vehicle is different. It depends on what service’s your having done, the condition of your vehicle and weather if we are mobile at your location. The To give you some rough numbers, a typical interior and exterior detail on a car would take anywhere from 2.5 hours to 5 hours, and on a larger vehicle like an SUV or a truck it could take anywhere from 4-7 hours. For paint correction and ceramic coating we typically need the vehicle for 24-48 hours depending on the package and condition and for ceramic coating its usually 48-72 hours to allow for proper curing and adhesion.

What is “Paint Correction” and why should I do it?

Paint correction is the process of “buffing” or “polishing” your paint to remove scratches, swirls, marring and water spots from your vehicle’s clear coat/paint. This is typically caused by auto car wash’s, self serve brush wash’s and winter snow brushes. We offer a few different options depending on your vehicles condition to fix those defects and bring back that deep gloss and shine to your vehicle.

What does Ceramic Coating do?

Ceramic coating is essentially like adding a very thing layer of liquid glass to the exterior of a clean, decontaminated and paint corrected vehicle that hardens over a period of time. A coating is designed to protect your vehicle from different elements such as bird droppings, mineral deposits, temperature cycles, micro-marring, chemicals, brake dust, rust, acid rain, road grit, salt and tar, tree gum, uv and sunshine and insect acid. This maintains your vehicles exterior with low maintenance and eliminates the need for waxing. It makes your vehicle much easier to clean and therefor more affordable to get it maintained by us in the future.

How long do Ceramic Coatings last?

We currently offer two different coatings. The first one is IGL Quartz+ which is a 2-3 year ceramic coating that gives you up to 3 years of protection warrantied by us. The second coating we offer is the IGL Kenzo Graphene infused coating that can protect your vehicles exterior for 4-5 years warrantied by us.
